China Custome Agreement,
After discussion of draft with Maze I
have reached agreement with him on the lines indicate in my telegram of 4th September No. 109.
Soong (Minister of Finance) who was visiting Hong Kon agreed generally. I hope to send draft agreement for your consideration next week. It requires approv of Nanking Government. Executive Council and Chambot of Commerce have not yet been consulted. Do you wish me to consult them now.
